An inclusive approach to marketing: The Social Detail to Arima & Co

We have some big news…

It’s happening. We’re putting The Social Detail to bed and we’re waking up Arima & Co.

As Arima & Co, our values and beliefs remain the same. And we’re sticking to most of our original services, including expert consulting, thorough audits and – of course – informative talks and workshops.  But this time around, we won’t be offering social media marketing. Our focus is shifting entirely to inclusive marketing.

Here’s the thing… without inclusion, marketing is broken. Without inclusion, you’re failing to connect to legions of people that would buy your product.

We’re on a mission to fix that.

Why the change?

Inclusive marketing has always been a core part of our work with clients. But this past year, we experienced a greater need to share our skills in this specific area. Our mission is so much bigger than social media. It will always be our first love. But inclusive marketing has a place within all forms of marketing. We can ignite real change by getting it a seat at the table.

In summary, our change of name reflects our move away from social media and our giant leap into the ever-important realm of inclusive marketing.

Why Arima?

Like making marketing inclusive, Arima is something special to our founder. It’s a county in Trinidad – the place where she spent her childhood and created warm memories. It’s also the name of a machine learning model that reveals how we incorporate data and processes into our thinking!

In other words, it’s the perfect name for this close-to-our-hearts and ambitious brand that’s out to change minds.

What is inclusive marketing?

Inclusive marketing happens when companies represent the diverse communities they’re serving. It’s simple, really. When you speak to all your target audience, you aren’t just “doing your bit,” you’re boosting your business. Extending your reach and more customers will buy. And your ROI? You better believe that’s going right up.

Not convinced?

Here are just a few stats that show why inclusive marketing deserves your attention:

  • Remember that all-important Millennial market? 77 per cent of them favour brands  that are inclusive

  • The LGBTQIA market spends £6 billion a year and are willing to switch to more  inclusive brands

  • Consumers from ethnically diverse communities in the UK have £300 billion a  year to spend and rising.

What to expect from Arima & Co?

We want to change the marketing sector and make inclusive marketing the industry standard. Picture diverse stock photos, accessible content, strategic campaigns, and company-wide process changes that mirror society – as it really is. It’s not wishful thinking. It’s 100% possible and easy for companies to implement. We can come in and show you how.

As Arima & Co, we’ll be bringing you enlightening talks and practical workshops. We can support your marketing by performing comprehensive audits and by offering our expert advice.
